AM V200 - SEPT 2022
Philadelphia, PA | USA π
I’ve been exploring this practice for the last 14 years and am so thrilled to have completed my first 200 hour teacher training with AM. As a teacher, I want to create a safe space for my community to connect with self, share each others strength, and explore the boundaries of what we think we are capable of. I’m passionate about practicing self awareness by releasing what no longer serves us, exploring new perspectives, and ultimately evolving.

Reflecting on the AM YTT Experience
Why did you choose Authentic Movements for your YTT?
Β | I chose Authentic Movements to learn from because they have been the most inspiring to my practice throughout the years. I love their seamless transitions that are unusually perfect combinations. They are respectful to the ancestors who came before us and are sure to honor and teach the “how” and “why” of the practice we love. Not to mention, they are all so fun, friendly and informational! |
How did the online training platform work for you?
Β | The training platform worked really well. I liked that you were held accountable to complete a task or a homework before moving on to the next chapter. I found myself having a bit of trouble staying fully focused, but that was an experience that likely made me stronger. It took me a bit longer to complete, but I am happy I took in all the information at the pace that I did. |
How has your teaching changed since completing the AM YTT?
Β | I am practicing in my own practice again! Moving without any need except my desire to move. I am exploring other styles of yoga classes and gathering what seeds I’d like to plant in my own garden. |
How have you engaged with the AM community of alums and students during and after the training?
Β | I have met some alums and fellow students during the live sessions, which was a really nice time to learn from each other. I also attended a workshop with Erin, Anthony, and fellow practitioners, and it felt really cool to get to practice all together in the same space for the first time. I am planning to also do the next AM training retreat in the Spring of 2023, woohoo! |
What was your favorite part of the course content?
Β | My favorite part of the course content were the feedback videos! It was so refreshing getting a personalized response back from all of the teachers in the program. It felt really encouraging to receive meaningful feedback to apply to the future. |
